ABILITY COUNTS
EVERY THURSDAY 5-6PM
Our Ability Counts sessions run on a Thursday evening providing inclusive and accessible football for anyone with sensory, physical, or neurological impairment or disabilities, ranging from the age of 5-15.
Sessions are split into age/ability groups which focus more on individual development both on and off the pitch.
Currently, the sessions are run as PAN disability but we are looking to make this more impairment specific in several areas. We would encourage all to come along and get involved. Furthermore, we are also happy for family members to accompany their child on the field to help them settle in or assist with general aid.
Our Under 14s compete in the Birmingham Ability Counts League once a month, a league they were successful in the 2023/24 season where they picked up 1st place honors!
We currently have 4 groups in this section:
- FUNdamental Group - Working with 5-8s
- Learn to Train Group - Working with 8s-11s
- Training to Train Group - Working with 11s-14s
- Train to Compete Group - Working with 14s-16s
We are also building a Cerebral Palsy section.
