PARKINSON'S WALKING FOOTBALL

Alvechurch Community Foundation, in partnership with Northfield Neighbourhood Network Scheme, are proud to deliver Parkinson's Walking Football sessions, to those who have Parkinson's or any other neurological conditions.

These weekly sessions are tailored to be welcoming, inclusive, and supportive - combining fun, low impact, physical activities with a friendly space to connect and make friends! No football experience needed - just come along and get involved.

Former England Under 21s Manager, Aidy Boothroyd, will be in attendance across the year to help with the coaching and playing during the sessions. Aidy is also Alvechurch Foundation Ambassador and he, himself was diagnosed with Parkinson's in November 2021.
