SCHOOLS IN THE COMMUNITY

Alvechurch Foundation are working with many local schools in the south Birmingham area, delivering sessions for students that have special education needs and/or disabilities, anxiety, confidence issues, behavioural problems or struggles with social skills.

Due to the number of children requiring additional support increasing across the board, schools are struggling to service bespoke support these children need for learning. School sport and physical activity is essential for supporting the children's physical, psychological and social development and through a variety of sporting activities, we help engage the students.

PE and school sport experiences have vastly improved for disabled children over the year with children taking part in more inclusive and accessible PE lessons and sports, developing new techniques as well as learning key life and leadership skills.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

We currently deliver many after school activities for both boys and girls aged 5-11. They are run by our FA qualified coaches and follow a structure of coaching and free-play fun!

Groups are split by age and ability to make sure everybody has great fun while keeping active and learning new skills! Sessions run 3:30PM - 4:30PM.
