ALVECHURCH FOUNDATION OVER 65S
ABOUT
Alvechurch Foundation now operate two sessions for the over 50's to participate in Walking Football, with the main emphasis in providing the facility for men and women of a certain age to continue to enjoy active participation in playing football.
There are two sessions now held at The Hayes, on a Monday from 4-5PM and on a Thursday morning from 9:15-10:30AM (The later session being FREE with a free tea/coffee in the cafe afterwards).
The sessions are about playing football under qualified referees and not about running up and down the pitch to gain fitness. All sessions are designed to cater for all abilities and can be competitive as Alvechurch Foundation have an over 65s team playing in the Birmingham County Walking Football League
Come along and see for yourself what goes on and hopefully this will tempt you to play for the mighty CHURCH!
